Northwest Harris County MUD 24 is pleased to share plans for a new community walking trail, designed to enhance outdoor recreation, wellness, and neighborhood connectivity.
The proposed trail will create a continuous walking loop that follows the perimeter of one basin and green space. The design emphasizes safety, accessibility, and enjoyment for residents of all ages.
Planned features include:
- A clearly marked walking trail loop
- Shade and ornamental trees along the route
- Trailhead signage and wayfinding
- Benches, trash receptacles, and pet waste stations
- Proposed lighting for improved visibility and safety
This project reflects the District’s commitment to thoughtful infrastructure improvements that support healthy lifestyles, encourage outdoor activity, and strengthen community connections.
